About Us

Megan has a BEd in Foundation Phase and Early Childhood Development (WITS), and a BA (HSS) in Psychological Counselling (UNISA). She has taught in Early Childhood and Foundation Phase classrooms for 10 years and loves working with children.

Her passion for children's mental health helped her change career paths and she began pursuing Psychology and Play Therapy, adding to her knowledge of child development and care.

She has her Post-Grad Diploma in Play Therapy (APAC), as well as her Post Qualifying Certificate in Filial Play Coaching, and practices Integrative Holistic, Child Centred Play Therapy, which is the most recognized form of Play Therapy in the UK and USA. 

For the safety of the children, Megan always ensures that she meets the following requirements:

• An up-to-date, clear Police Check

•Receives clinical supervision of her Play Therapy practice – her work is reviewed regularly by someone who has considerable experience

•Conducts the sessions in a safe environment

• Works to PTUK/PTI ethical framework
